I wish I had managed to film this thing when it started up whilst racing in JoBurg- what a machine 27 litres 450 bhp and 1550 nm torque- what is that in real money I wonder!!
Noted that "Lucy" made a beeline for the pit garage where the most horsepower was!

John Dodd built a similar car with a wagon body, Rolls Royce grill and a Rolls Royce Merlin engine from a Spitfire.
He drove it on the road for a while, until it was banned by German authorities!
Love the sound of those V12 Merlins! We have a classic airshow nearby every now and then and hearing a Spitfire rev and take off is always good for goose bumps haha

The lovely 46 litre BMW V12 powered Brutus from the Auto und Technikmuseum in Sinsheim was on display at this year's Techno Classica
