I'm looking at getting myself a brake pipe flaring tool so I can make up some new front flexi-to-caliper sections. All the ones I'm looking at seem to be imperial i.e. 3/16. I'm assuming the E21 has metric fittings.
So, will imperial flared pipe work ok with metric fittings? I believe 3/16" is the same as 4.75mm (std metric).

Re: Brake pipes
Thanks Nas.
Reason I ask is because I found a post on another forum which claimed imperial & metric had different flares which would stop them sealing.
My Baur already has braided flexi's - this is the rigid section that goes from the flexi to the caliper.
