The front lip on this E21:



Where could I get one?

Would the ones usually fitted to Mk1 Golfs be suitable?

Hmmm I'm not sure, I've seen E21's with a lip added to the existing valance.

go to google type in bmw e21 images theres 100s make ur own decision.........

yeah standard lip - you have the early pre facelift front valance - dont think it came with one?

Ahhhh maybe that's where I was getting confused?!

Mine doesn't appear to have anything? There is a "stonechip" section that could be painted black, but I think it would look odd.

Has anyone added a lip to a prefacelift then?

I tried a MK1 Escort alloy one on my old car a few years back but dimension/angle wasn't ideal. A Golf one might do the trick?

golf mk1/2 has a duckbill spoiler that might work.

Yeah, that's the one I'm thinking of using.

Cheap enough to buy, so it won't be too bad if it doesn't work.

I was hoping someone would try the golf duckbill lip on an e21 sometime. I wanna see what it looks like.

It's the older style front valance with extra lip welded on.
