hi,my names jason,just joined the site.
ive been into bmws for a good while now,mostly e30.
always liked the e21,remember them back in the day,i would have been 10 or so.
well i went out and got a black 316 there on jan 1st this year,nice car,standard as they come. factory black,no sunroof,steel wheels etc.
was uk car,1 owner and the uk owner moved to ireland in 92,used it til his passing in 99,car then put away til 12,when i got it.
almost zero rust,just a bit on back panel. will get pics up in time.
went to get a bbs spoiler for it lastnite,and the chap had a very sorry 323i limited edition,two tone grey,so ive ended up buying it also,very rusty
. have to get pics of her up also.

Welcome here! What are your plans now, turn the 316 into a 323i? Sounds like you got yourself the perfect donor car!

ive been trying to upload pics through photobucket but with out to much luck.
il wait til her indoors gets back from trip at weekend.

have had a good root and look at my 323i,shell ok,sills floor inner wings bulkhead etc good,not so good rear arch pass side,rear valances,rear panel all over
spare wheel well! anyone got a good back half of a e21
.
someone asked there does it have recaros,yes it does. seems to have alot,bbs malhas,tinted windows,recaros,front apron,rear spoiler,3 spoke sport bmw wheel,5speed dogleg box,lsd,sunroof,rhr.
had a look under the archs,and probably replaced recently,but it has fresh bilstein shocks,eiback springs,and has good yokohama a152a tyres on it.
its a proper 2 tone car,as it has the 2 paint code stickers under the bonnet.
