Chrome mirrors and outer sills

Hi everyone,
Random question. I want to replace my plastic electric mirrors with some chrome ones. Do the original chrome mirrors fit easily enough or alternatively does anyone know if you can get chrome bullet mirrors for the E21 or for another car that will fit. More on chrome, a friend of mine has chrome sill runners on his stag, they look good and was going to see what it would look like on my e21 to cover the black paint there at the minute. Don't know if either are available.
