Can Anyone Identify These Wires?

I'm currently working on the car, and I have three wires that I can't seem to be able to identify.
Two brown, one with a medium spade connector, the other one with a small spade connector.
The third wire is purple, with a small spade connector.
I'm completely useless with wiring, so I could really do with some advice/help if anyone knows what these are for.
The heater blower won't come on at all, so I'm guessing one of the brown wires is maybe a ground for the heater blower?

Brown is aways earth...
The purple wire isnt obvious. I can check on my car later on if you want. All my interior is out at the minute.

Yeah, but I'm not sure what they're the earths for.
They might well be redundant and never used, but I'm wondering if they're the cause for my heater box not working?

That purple and white may be the glovebox light? its in that sort of area.
Or even the ashtray light?

i believe the wires for the heater are tucked right up in the dash.
I had a blower that didn't work on that last m52 i built. it turned out it had jammed solid so i switched it on FULL speed - then got a screw driver and manually and carefully rotated the spinny things in the scuttle panel. and like by magic they started working again - i lubed the living crap out of them, worked consistently after that.,

I've plugged the wires for the heater in, well the ones that go into the back of the loom, and the one that goes onto the knob for the control? Are there any others that are supposed to go into the heater box?
Good thinking on the fans, I'll give it a go, that said, the fans don't sound like they're even trying, no clicks from the relay, no noises, nothing at all.

Was messing around in the console on mine yesterday, and as I have no radio, I have a few "spare" wires in there, so I got the meter in there.
On my car, there's a chunky brown which goes tot he cigarette lighter then two thinner browns split off the connector and feed the ashtray light, and something else
There's a Chunky red with yellow trace that powers the cigarette lighter which is permanently live.
And there's the skinny purple with with white trace that I'm guessing must go to the radio as there's nothing else, but it's an ignition switched live.
What there isn't in my console is a dedicated power and earth for the radio.

Are they for the speaker that sits in the middle of the dash

I think that speaker can only be on early models with the slider heater controls, since I had a look under the grille and there's the vent pipework there on post facelift cars.
