so whats best to use to polish them as mine have slight spots of corrosions starting to appear and i dont want to scatch whats good

They are actually made of aluminum. Use mother's aluminum polish. Be careful with them they are damn expensive from the dealers

this is good to know, i was getting ready to break out the autosol before i read htis.
