One mroe question on pistons

I'm forever asking questions, I appreciate everyone's patience!!

I have a head from an E21 M10 Carb (1981ish) and the block from an E30 M10 (1985/6ish) that I want to put together. Will these pistons (and more specifically the shape of the crowns/deck height) suit?

W+N already replied saying these wouldn't work. I'm at a loss as to why. Argh!

And I don't know if this is something common of all spare parts suppliers, or just those for old BMW's - but most seem to have terrible customer service. Some don't respond to messages, some do but insist you call and refuse to discuss otherwise, some reply once and then never again. This is common from UK, EU and US suppliers in my experience.. When I'm looking to spend £500~ on parts I expect a company to bloody answer, unless they're drowning in business?!

Likely never heard of a e21 and unsure about a m10 motor and don't want to look stupid ! I have been in bmw dealers parts dept where they did not know what a e21 was ....no joke!

Do you have the complete e30 block with pistons in it, or do you still need pistons?

If you are buying pistons you might as well get them made to the right spec and best possible CR etc rather than just standard.

Mind you this ends in balancing it while it's in bits, porting the head fitting throttle bodies and efi, lightening the flywheel, fitting a madder camshaft etc plus a large bill. You know how I know!
