E30 zone full of inbred toss pots?

Post by problemchild75 »

Is it me or is the zone just jam packed with the most unnhelpful inbread toss bags ever to take to a key board. A quick trip over there will remind you how lucky we are to have this forum and the people on it :wtf

I try to think of it as that class they had at school, that took place in a mobile home near the bike racks, where they got to play with hammers and no sharp things were allowed.

Same here with Dutch E30 forums, appears to attract a completely different audience. Only exception is a dedicated E30 M3 forum but that's filled with older guys, real engine whiz kids and established race drivers.

Should we build some E30 subforums here then? Enough E30 owners and knowledge around...

No for God sakes no e30 section. You'll have them causing problems here too.

E30 Zone is atrocious!

It's not just the content either, the design of it is woeful! It actually makes me want to cry it looks that bad!

Orange text on a black background! What the hell were they thinking!

OK so no dedicated E30 section then, but since there's always something to report on the topic I decided to start a general E30 thread anyway haha

I can see why you'd all say the above. I was also alarmed by how abrupt and rude people are on there. But in other ways its well "policed". People have to follow the for sale rules or else. Accountability for dodgy sellers. A dedicated trade section.

But then there is the other side where folk clearly have nothing better to do then to comment and pick on newbies especially. Remember asking a technical question about how I could alter the mileage on a speedo with a legitimate reason. Someone was good enough to respond with how-to photos and we got accused of condoning clocking!

Much prefer it here anyway :)

Racism is ripe on the zone. http://www.e30zone.net/modules.php?name ... c&t=247767

By all accounts, when the big fella up there was handing out brain cells, someone miscalculated the numbers and when it came the turn of the zoners to have some implanted, god almighty had ran out.

Thats what i was always told as a child....i could be wrong.

I would agree that the tone of the various car blog sites varies enormously

the E30 Zone is fully of stroppy people; with an axe to grind!

Birty Dastads is similarly full of sharp comments but I am inclined to give them the benefit of the doubt as they seem to know eachother extremely well (and thus get over any misunderstandings over a campfire in the Woods - it's a Jeep thing)

This one is far better- well done J! Long may it continue.................
