The waiting game (1982 320/6)
Hi all,
So I've finally found an E21, and will be picking it up in about two weeks - a painful waiting game now!
It's an '82 320/6 with a factory 5-speed gearbox, in Lapis Blau. It has the leather three spoke steering wheel, and colour coded wing mirrors, sills and front valance, plus a factory pin stripe.
I'll post photos up here as soon as I have the car, I'm wanting to keep it looking fairly stock, refurbishing more than changing... although I will lower slightly, if anyone has a good contact for springs in London please let me know.
Can't wait to pick it up, have been reading everyone else's topics avidly
Righto, that's me.

Re: The waiting game (1982 320/6)
Evening all, so here're a few snaps of the new motor... If you could ignore the flat tyre and the taped on tax disk I'd appreciate it
I'll post some interior pics when I can, just lost the light.
I'll be selling the 13" Mahle's and replacing with 15" - if anyone is interested please let me know, would ask £300 in current condition, ONO.

I like the 13'' Mahle. If only to be a bit different, with some old skool Hoosier or BF Goodrich?
Good to see another UK e21 anyway.

Re: The waiting game (1982 320/6)
Cheers guys, yeah it's a great car, just needing a little recommissioning! Was a pleasure to drive home in
Had a few delays on the work as so far two suppliers have sent the wrong parts, to be fair they have both resolved the problem - I'm just impatient now!
Regarding the wheels, the 13's will be staying a little longer it seems, as will the stock ride height... gotta raid the penny jar!

Keep the 13's I think they look cooler than 15's.
But there again I'm toying with fitting a beaded seat cover in mine for a proper retro feel

Re: The waiting game (1982 320/6)
Hi all.
Took the car off the road for a while to carry out some work (weber carb etc) but should be sorted this week.
Yeah the 13s have grown on me a lot so they are staying, and yes the sun roof is great
