Dont really know if this is the right place to put this so if a mod wants to move it feel free

Im looking a set of wheels for my e21

They are 16x8 and the lowest offset i can get them in is et15 the car has a -60mm spax kit on it,

Id like to run a 205/45 profile tyres i hope a 5mm spacer which will effectively make the wheels et10 will do the trick for inner clearance i dont mind pulling arches a little but does anyone see me having any other issues with this setup??

Im looking to order them in the next day or 2

Cheers
Si.

16x8 et 20 on the front of my car, plenty of clearance for that ball joint - its only when you got 15's you need a low low offset.

195/40/16 - although I could easily run 205/45

on our ride height 195/45/16 is max on the front.

I have my front suspension at -1 degrees and max caster which helps clearance a little. your right though, ride height plays a part. when your slammed the front tyre (if its too much side profile) touches the front valance part of the wheel arch.

my front is also 8x16, caster max, camber -2.5, tyres 195/45/16 and they clear the valance within mm...I already wanted to fit the 205/45 or the 195/50 in the front but on this height its not possible.

Mine isnt as low as either of your cars and wont be going that low as the roads around here are crap and i do drive hard quite regular plus i dont fancy smashing my sump to bits (been there alot!!)

But also i want to be able to drive the car in relative comfort 2500mile trip around europe coming up in 2 months hence wanting a larger profile and minimal stretch

Nas are yours et20 with or without spacers?
