Hi I'm new to the bmw scene always been into the vw but I upgraded lol

I recently found a 1981 320/6 auto in a barn I was working at 4 owners from new 100,000. Miles and in pretty good shape to say it had been stood since 2003 picked it up at a bargain price I think, got it running within 10 minutes and even drove it out and on to our recovery truck. Needs a wind repairable but rather not.
The rear valance has rotted but was given a brand new one with the car. I will try post some pictures if I can figure it out

First of all: welcome here!

A textbook example of a barnfind I'd say! And after some initial TLC there's even paint on the car lol! Looks like this idiot didn't do such a bad deal after all!

Well hoping to get a few parts collections tomorrow and will be heading for full respray in next few weeks, it's just the chrome round the windows that let it down :(

And don't forget that timing belt and water pump are way past their due date!

Yea good call I need to go through the whole car, but any ideas on best to either replace the chrome or get re chromed some where as I see everyone else looks to have near perfect round the windows
