i am currently stripping the running gear off the e21 shell that has been in storage since 1996 and fitting them onto reck old e21shell as i remove the parts he wants returning off it ..when the stored shell is bare i plan to cut out the any rust and fit fresh metal then fit my solid panels and paint it bmw mini volcano orange all over before refitting the 320i /4cylinder running gear.....if the bare shell weighs less than 200kg me and my brother will be able to tip it on its side on some old tyres to make welding anything underneath easier...

a couple of mates and I carried a shell onto a truck no problem. they weigh hardly anything when fully stripped.
