E21 kin. I recently purchased a E36 M3 Sedan 5 speed and want to get rid of the horrible US headlights and replace them with the Euro counterparts. Would anyone that lives in a LHD country be willing to grab a set with the harness (car side) and ship them to me? I will paypal.
I need these:
Bosch units
and
^^^ harness gets clipped off the car, probably have to dig out a set from a junkyard.

Think I can get you some Euro LHD Bosch H7 sedan units (guess you prefer them to H1's) for less rediculous prices than at the dealer's but it may take me quite some time to get the connectors with a more than full schedule atm so if anyone else can help out?

They are full headlight assemblies. Ellipsoid lenses with H1 or H7 bulbs, housings, etc.

Did you find any good suppliers of Bosch headlights yourself? First supplier I asked wants Euro 190 each, dealer wants more than double!
Oh and any idea if these connectors are the same on all models? I have worked on E36 headlights but only to replace the transparent covers and never paid any attention to other details haha

Yea, the parts suppliers here want $660 or about 500 euros for a set. I was hoping to find a junkyard set. They don't have to be brand spankin new. The fact that the US lenses are plastic and the euro sets are glass make such a huge improvement in aesthetics, and then there is the ellipsoid vs. traditional beam that makes the lighting so much better on a euro unit.
I believe the connectors are standard, but if the headlights and connectors come off the same car, then I just need to splice the wires together on my car anyway.
Thanks Again

OK but we have versions without the lens as well, prolly those are the H1 units. Most are ZKW units that are of less quality, not Bosch. I'll put up a wanted ad on a local website and see what happens.

If the price isn't worth the hassle then I'll bite the bullet and purchase them here. Thanks.

Nothing sofar, only people that want me to send them money without being able to show a single pic, and people offering Chinese fake rubbish.

No rush, and it isn't something that requires immediate attention. I was more trying to make people aware who may frequent junkyards in a LHD country. Thanks for trying.

RHD headlights don't really work well if intended for LHD use
