Does the first e21 look any different from the 1977 e21?

I've been looking all over internet and its getting confusing. There are two different e21s on the internet, one of them has a single headlamp and the other has a double headlamp. I was wondering if they're both e21s or not,

Welcome here! Single headlamp setups were used for the more basic E21's, 315-316-318-318i. The 320-320i-323i had the dual units.
Other differences: the E21 was facelifted in 1979 when it received -among other mods- a different front valence, mirrors and dash.
