On numerous occasions user Mobster has had a negative effect on the atmosphere here on the forum, questioning peoples intentions and getting into bar brawls. I feel we have been more than patient with this individual, given him the benefit of the doubt many times but I'm fed up with babysitting this person and having to deal with discussions or complaints both on the forum and in my e-mail at least once a month.

I feel the negative impact on the atmosphere and the possibility that this scares new members away as well can no longer be tolerated, and I'm fed up with these discussions, I simply don't have the time or energy and I believe I shouldn't have to, on a website that should consist only of enthusiasts. This is not a decision to take lightly but I think I've given this enough time and chances.

His account is deactivated as per today, some recent responses were deleted but to keep threads in tact I decided to keep other posts by him in place.

I'm no Angel either as I sometimes don't think when I post. But I hope that some goodness I have in me shines through and I do try to help out.

I was about to talk to you about Mobster and suggest a temporary ban. What you say ultimately goes though obviously Jeroen and in hindsight he has been repeatedly told diplomatically, directly and using every approach in between to act accordingly.

Openingly questioning other members selling prices with an ulterior motive of buying stuff for the lowest price and selling it for the highest - often with no pictures is not cool in my book.

Onwards and upwards for the forum hopefully.

I've had a think about a few of my posts and deleted as you may know I've noticed the same thing and respect that you've thought about the new members and shows there's alot of care with the site Fair play to you

Right decision made. He was bullying people into selling cheap and then selling for top dollar. He offered no positive input that I have ever seen on the forum and in my view used it solely to make money for himself. Obviously this is just my observation from my time on the forum. There are one or two others too but slightly less abrasive

Thanks for your support guys. It is not a decision to take lightly and I believe this is only the 3rd or 4th person we've banned over the past 15 years!!
