320/6 Weber 40 dcoe carburettor

Hi,my name is Rui and i´m from portugal, i own a 320/6 and want to get rid of that horrible solex 4a1... I want more power, and i thought about the weber 40 dcoe. I think one of them will hit the brake booster. with the manifold, carb, horns and filters on the way, i guess that it will not fit! Does anyone tried this swap? Need help...

One? For single carb the 38 DGAS is a common alternative. A search on Weber conversion will get you a bunch of topics, like:

I think that the last carb will hit the brake booster... i want to know if anyone tried to put 3 weber 40 dcoe on a 320/6... will they fit? i want 3 doble carbs, not just one!

I googled "bmw e21 triple weber" and had a look. Looks like other people have done it. There's a thread on Biimer forums.
