Hi, an e30 looks the same but I fact it's about an inch taller!
I needed to replace mine, a local company said they could get one, so I ordered with them, took a week to come then it was an e30 item! this was after buying a 'good condition!' Second hand one off eBay, that leaked like a sieve!!
I ended up buying from eBay again but it was a new Nissens rad, and come from Norway. Can't remember the price, wasn't crazy though.

They are expensive here in Europe too, think about $400 to $500 for a NOS.

I got lucky to get one for my 520/6 for something like $350,- a few weeks ago.

bought mine new here locally in malta for 150Euro just last month but i'm guessing shipping would be a bit expensive if any of you were insterested in me purchasing them and posting them out...

The shipping is the whole issue, and a lot of risk it gets damaged while in transit I guess. A new Denso rad including shipping to Uruguay would set you back abt 300 Euros. That could be close to what the dealer wants for one as well.

Yeah i think i might try to fit an e30 320i radiator instead .. they r way cheaper .. the original radiator for the e21 320/6 costs about 1k dollars here , so its not really a good option.
