wanted to first that E21 are superb and i owned a Topasbraun 320 back in early nineties..

sold in the early nineties (i had to!), but now would love to buyitback or if not at least see it!.

anyone can help i would be very grateful.

its a 320 Baur in Topasbraun, plate ends in 68Y. its an 82 model, had standard wheels, beige cloth interior.

had 98k miles back in 1993. i am guessing it may be the only RHD BAUR in this colour maybe?

it changed hands last year, is currently sorned, no MOT, and no insurance.

i would guess it may be in someones garage in a sorry state. i dont know when it was last on the road.

DVLA of course will not give out addresses.

any information i would be very happy!.

i have the full plate number if needs be (but did not copy the Reg doc when i sold it so dont have the vin...with the vin not sure if you can trace the MOT station)

if i can't track it down i will be sometime buying a BAUR or saloon when funds permit (wifes kitchen first!)

i have searched the net for the plate and come up with nothing.

Pfiew, thats gonna be some search! Is there any chance of checking with the dmv if the chassisnummer still is active?

You have to contact someone from the german Baursite to see if your colour and the fact that it is a RHD is indeed special. That narrows the search.

I think that Stephan or Markus can help you further in relation to the "one of a kind" status of that colour and RHD.

Thank you for the response.
Unfortunately i did not note the Baur number.
I sold it back in 1993.
Dvla in uk will not give out addresses.
Have done a hpi check and is definately not motd,taxed,insured.
It is sorned.
Changed owners last year.
Had a colour change but reg document stated brown to red so i wonder if someone who does not know bmw's thought the colour was red so changed the reg document.

Would so like to buy it back as a keeper even if it needs a rebuild.
Colour was lovely.
