Night at the Park: UB40, Duran Duran & others

Last Sat I went to Night at the Park, with 30.000 spectators it's a a lovely little prelude to Parkpop that drew 150.000 this year. Takes place in The Hague and the weather was brilliant. In my opinion it started too early so it was pretty much at daylight thanks to the late sunsets. Took away a bit of the atmosphere but I had a great time anyway.
Concert started off with Belgian band K's Choice. Lead singer and songwriter Sarah Bettens put her musical career on hold for a while but it was good to see that she has found the musical spirit again.
Time for a Dutch band called De Dijk...
On to UB40, first time to see them live but they did a great job, nice to see original lead vocalist Ali Campbell back too
Finishing the evening with Duran Duran. Nice to see the original legends Nick Rhodes, John & Roger Taylor and of course Simon le Bon
