Hi,
I've seen a set of 17" alloys I like, but I don't know if 17" is just too big for an e21?
Pics would be good if you've got any?

Here is mine.



It needs a bit more low in the front but I have not had issues with clearence in any way .I'm sure they are 17x7 with a 20 offfset . They have 205/40 17 tyres on them .

I think 16" are a better compromise, but there are always exceptions. A lot of it goes down to the type of wheels too IMHO.
