Popout window screws

For those who need to take their popout windows apart, when like chaning the rubber seals, you will run into the same crap I did. There are only a few parts left to buy, not including the screws. Those have a horrific size, m3,5, which the better hardwarestore couldn't find. But I found them on the net, torx. So I thought it would be nice to share my findings. They are a little to long, but that can be sorted.

Found them on ebay Ebay, 7 of 8 dollar for 50. Some shippingcosts, but I'm very pleased to have them home for some 10 pounds...

Screws were too long, so I cut them off. The head of the screw is slightly too thick for the lower moulding, so I grinded it down, because I didn't want them to scratch the lower moulding. After that I had the screws zincplated.

Two normal and two grinded heads.

Besides the screws, I need some ribbets to put it all together. I found these blind rivets, 5mm long and 3mm thick. Perfect fit.

And put it together.
