Charity event that made a nice combo with classic racing and classic planes. Also celebrating 50 years of Matra sports and race cars as well as the life of Henri Pescarolo, former F1 driver, 33 times Le Mans 24 Hours competitor and now team owner. Impressive or not?! A few snaps to start...

Pescarolo had a great time in his Matra ex F1 car, but he was ready to hop behind the wheel of any car!



Enough BMW action as well, this M1 was present at one of our earlier editions of the Sharknose Meeting



And how about this 1930's line up? 327 coupe, 328 roadster and rare 328 Touring Superleggera!

I guess later is now here's a few more shots on the event. Wonderful event indeed, but as its a fundraiser I understood that tickets were pretty expensive. That's why I'm sharing the results with you guys!





Dutch former F1 driver Guido van de Garde did some demos together with DHG racing, for example in the Cobra and older models F1 cars

We already saw a 327 and some 328's, how about the Nurburgring based business Veritas that built race cars based on the 328 chassis and engine?

During lunch time there was a lovely airshow, the Wings part of the event including some acrobatics in a B-25 Mitchell!







But as stated before, a special role was for the impressive career of Henri Pescarolo. Ex F1 driver, participated in 33 editions of the Le Mans 24 hours and now a LMS team owner

Nice event indeed. May i ask how you get the tickets because i know it is a private party and not open for regular public.

Well as far as I know you could buy tickets but they were very expensive. I was there on a press assignment for Het Automobiel Magazine.

Because i live there in the region it was mentioned to me but the tickets where available if you are a member of a certain club in the region or by invitation. As the organisation mentioned they would keep it like this because otherwise there would be to much public.

This year we will be there.
