We found ourselfes a nice set Alpina wheels, but they need a paint job and some reparation.
What i want to know is how we should paint them?
At the sharknose meeting i saw different paintjobs.
A lot of them were black with clearcoat so they were really shinny what i didn't like that much.
Some of them were just black without clearcoat is that original?
A German guy told us that you have to paint the black a mm over the edge of the centre is that true?
What are the original colors?
What about the center caps... On our wheels there are metal caps is that original or do we need the plastic caps?
Are there any Dutch forum members who knows where we should bring them to get refurbish?
I HOPE THERE ARE SOME ALPINA EXPERTS

I recommend Wheeltrim in Nijkerk. They recently did my 16" Alpina's aswell. Came out nice! Had them metallic flake powdercoated. looks just like metallic paint but much stronger.
Before and after pics. I had 3 oval rims and one wit a flat side. They repaired that and welded one spot where it had serious damage. Can't find it anymore, so they did good!

That looks really nice... And Nijkerk is not that far from Utrecht
You didn't paint the heart black is that for a reason?

Yeah, because they come from my e30 325i, so it's the newer type Alpina rim, with the big centercap, instead of your onder type, like they need to be on the e12.

No, they have been put on at the first delivery in 1987, along with the Alpina steering wheel. This e30 325iA cabriolet is first delivery by the famous Dutch bmw-Alpina dealer Piet Oldenhof. First owner bought it for his wife, he drove a e23 b7 at that time.

That's a nice original cabrio... For me the alpina's 16 and the original 15 inch bbs wheels are the only wheels for the e30
I think you have a nice collection of good looking cars!

Thanks! I wanted to fit the 15" bbs, but because these alpinas came with the car on first delivery, they need to stay on this car. Thats why I had them refurbished. And I'm very happy with this e30 indeed!
