Just bought a central console for my 320 manual and can't get it to fit!!

I thought all e21 consoles should fit...But could it be possible that it out of 316 and won't fit my 320?

Mine has two rounded like vents bellow the instrument panel I.e heating, fan.. Etc... The console I have doesn't want to fit around them!

Can anyone help?

The round vents on the side means A/C. Centre consolde that doesn't have this is non-ac...
