What schrick camshaft are you running in your m20b23?

Hi everyone , which schrick camshaft are any of you lot running in your m20b23 with k jet ?? What degree of camshaft??

272 degrees in and out.

I am running the 280° schrick cam in my hartge but I guess that no longer available

Oh yeah how about the 288 degree?? Will that be ok with a modified head?

I'll be using a 731 head with oversized valves and ported

Ive heard from several guys that have build a 2.5 with the 288 cam that it is to agressive .. not much happening at all under 4.5 .. i had a modified 2.7 with a 282 dbilas cam .. that ran really nice.
You know with the 2.3 you are missing the torque of a 2.5 / 2.7 engine so if you install a cam that is to agressive you will enlarge that by turning the powerband to the higher rev range

So the schrick 288 will only be ok for like fast road and track use?

Exactly .. it all depends wat you want to do with the car .. sometimes a bit less power during a larger rev ranges is more fun than max power during a very small rev range

Yh the car will be for fast road use and track mostly
