Hi guys

I've been a member for a while but never made a thread about my car so here it goes. The car is a 1982 315 with 138k km on the clock.
I can tell you the story why I bought a e21. When I was younger I walked past a e21 everyday on my way to school, it was a clean blue 323i and I loved that car and thought to myself someday I will buy myself a e21, but since I live in Iceland there are very few e21's left on the streets so when I saw my e21 for sale I had to buy it even though it was only a 315. And then this whole project started, first I bought the m30b35 for the swap and was just going to swap it in, then I found a e23 745i turbo kit for sale and bought that to put in as well, but then desided to sell that kit and go for something bigger... so here I am, in too deep and trying to piece this car together, here is where I am with this today.

warmest of Welcome's

Thats one sturdy diff mount!!

what turbo is that HX52 with 11cm turbine housing?

Interesting idea with the remote manifold for the wastegate/fuel reg & dump valve. why not just drill and tap the alloy manifold?

remember pictures pictures and more pictures.

:thumbsup

china intercooler? I have a similar thick one on my turbo passat project, massive problems with the intake temperature as it doesn't cool the air (too thick or too low flow)...they told me never to save money on intercoolers, and its true.

This cooler is not cheap and not from china, this one is a upgrade for a 335i or 135i with twin turbo n54( two small turbos generate/transfer more heat than a single large), I have put this same cooler in a modded e90 335i and we saw a very nice intake temperature drop from the stock cooler so I'm not even a little worried about this one for my setup.
