15x9j rears?

Anyone run 15 x9s on the rear?
I recently bought a set of rota bm8s because it think they look really good on e21s.
I bought 15 x 8j et0 fronts and 15 x 9j et0 rears. Ive just tried the rear rim on and its very close to the trailing arm, so i guess the offset is spot on.
But they stick out a lot.
Do i need arch work?
What size tyres would be best fit? Would 215/45 fit? Don't really want too much stretch but i guess i might have too.
Thanks

i have run a couple of 9 inch wide rears, and everytime i did was really unpleasent. The arm itself isnt the problem but when you go to lower your car you will have them hit the top of the struts so watch out there.

you have to flare / roll your arches.

215 yes, dont put a 195 on thats going to be illegal

Thanks for the input.

I did consider changing them for 8s. But I've gone for it with the 9s now. Ordered tyres. front 205/45 backs 215/45 Toyos.
Also ordered Bilstein B6 dampers, H&R -35mm springs and some camber plates for the rear.
So im all in so to speak.
Haven't got a clue how to fit the camber plates though.
I have realised now that i will need to roll my rear arches but will probably have to roll my front arches aswel.
