The body restoration of my '91 325 Convertible is a an end and I have completed most of the fitting up.
My '82 e21 is next up in about 4 weeks.
I was able to salvage one of the plastic membranes that make the door waterproof but the other was shredded when I started. Does anyone know where i can get theis membrane as it's not listed anywhere on the ETK that I can find.
Many thanks

Re: e30 Door Plastic Waterproof Membrane
I bought some sticky backed plastic (remember Blue Peter?) £4.00 from eBay, made a template and cut it out, worked a treat

Walloth and Nesch used to stock them for 20 EUR, but when I ordered some they really weren't any different to the sticky back plastic Keith mentioned. It is the same thing for all intents and purposes and you save a bit of money.
I used waterproof sheet from a local diy store. The stuff you put on some roofs as a thin protecting membrane. Cost me £1.50 for enough IIRC.
Then cut it to size and made holes for the window winders and glued them on.
