So I went shopping for some new air hoses to replace the 3 I removed this evening from my 1978 E21 323i, and was unpleasantly surprised to find all of them are NLA. Fortunately for the moment mine arent broken through (yet), so I'll try some shoe goo on them until I find new ones.

The first breather hose ( 11611284714 ) I took a gamble and ordered a 320i breather hose which looks very similar, in the hopes it will fit.

Walloth nesch seems to have them, is that my only choice?

Other two hoses are 11611284714 and 11611284714.

What do professional car restorers do in this situation? Seems like its gotta be pretty common.

Where did you check? As far as I can see 11611284714 is listed as available at approx 15 euros. And better check those other part nos.

I can recheck if you make sure I have all 3 part nos

real oem shows them all as available, but ecs tuning (my primary supplier) says not. bavauto.com part search doesn't even show them.

recently I tried ordering a bunch of other 323i parts from ecc tuning (an entire exhaust) that were showing as available, but got a call in several days saying that bmw was no longer offering them.

perhaps because of my location?

Before I ask them, please try to get the numbers right

I ended up ordering all three from Walloth Nesch.. (along with an entire exhaust system)
