Wiring Loom Removal

I'm looking to do some welding around the bulkhead grommet and need to pull the loom through and into the cabin. Is it a case of disconnecting everything at the fuse box and having enough space to take all the plugs through the grommet, or will I have to unclip the pins from the multiplugs to have room?

No, with some hazzle it will fit. I removed the complete loom the other way, from rearlight to the dash and everything in between, even without disconnecting it from the fusebox. Came out in one piece. But of course you need to get the robber in the bulkhead out also. Stays on the loom.

So you think that I should take the loom forward and into the engine bay then?
Loving your build thread BTW

Oh, no, but that was just to underline the amount of space and to say that you must be able to do it. You need to take the dash out for space, though.

Thanks for the compliment on my build!!!
