Hello from Portugal!
I've a 320/6 from 1981 and I would like to add rear seatbelts so I could travel with my daughters.
Can I retrofit them?
Does anyone have some photos that could help me where to plug the different parts of the seatbelts?
Thank you for your help
Best regards

Were they not standard fit by then? Or were they an option?

I think they were an option because I don't have any hole in the headlining of the C-pillar

If you take a look between the c pillar and the (side of the) back part of the rear sitting bench, you should be able to see some black plastic part somewhere under with a linear hole on it
This is something like a lid to the two rear boxes where the rear seatbelts should be fitted
Parts catalogue (from bmw-classic branch, or Walloth+ Nesch etc) have pictures that show all parts required
I recently had the rear seatbelts fitted, they were also an option to my car back in the day

Thank you for your help. Do you have any photos of yours?
I'll try to find the holes.

You are welcome.
I do not have any photos I'm afraid. I will try and make one later in the day and send you

sorry for the pictures quality, they were taken using mobile phone in low light conditions with flash
On the last picture, you can see the black plastic "guide" I mentioned above, which was already (in my car-before fitting the rear belts) under the rear seat bench near the c pillar
