M10 crank pulley with trigger teeth - best source??

I am getting ready to fit throttle bodies to my M10 and have everything except a crank trigger pulley which has the teeth for the crank position sensor.

I have done some googling and found '02 Again' have one for $229 + shipping from the US, and there is a guy in Norway who will make one for £550!!

Are these the only options other than attaching (welding?) a crank trigger ring to my existing pulley? I am doubtful that this approach will see the trigger ring run true, and this is critical as the sensor has to be very close.

Do the crank pulleys from M40/M42 fit? What about M20?

What is the M10 pulley made from - is it mild steel?

Thanks,

Mark

As far as I remember, Ireland Engineering had one for the M10. And no, the others don't fit. And yes, the M10 is made from steel, but not mild.

Thanks,

I couldn't see one on their website so I'll drop them an email.

Do you know what grade the steel is - one option is to weld a stainless gear ring onto the pulley

You can cut it yourself at every shop with a water or laser cutter. I have description posted here:
