Does anyone know the whereabouts of my first e21 DRO832Y Polaris Silver 320 Manual with Foha Spoiler, front fogs and blue cloth.

My father bought it new in '82 from Bavarian Garages in Belfast but it was actually registered in Luton to avoid having a Northern Ireland registration as the family were set to move back to Hampshire. I acquired it in '86, sold in '91 in the Camberley area, my first BMW. I loved the car and would really like to know what happened to it? I can't find any MOT history online, just a record of the last tax in '13 and owner changes in '05 and '13 so looks like someone kept it for 8 years.

Somebody must know something!

Yes, I'd checked that myself. Don't understand how it was taxed in '13 but no record of it ever having an MOT.

I'm sure someone on the forum must know something, even 5 years ago an e21 was a rare beast so someone must have seen it somewhere, even if they were just pulling parts from the shell!

Hi, I think I have seen this years ago..In East London about 7 to 8 years ago I Spotted an e21 on top of a container at a vehicle dismantlers, I took photos of it, and asked if they would sell it but it was his sons etc and he reckoned it was going to get put back on the road ..annoyingly I can't find the phone number i was given which I had in my wallet at that time (the sons) or the photos that were on an old phone and would have transferred photos onto a file.

I can remember the reg though and pretty sure it was the same as your old car..I know it's not completely the info you need but hopefully it means it did get off the container due to the tax info you got. It looked fairly good condition just weathered from standing.

I can tell you the dismantlers where it was has now gone as I called round there on thursday night due to your post and as I was in the area. There was one breakers yard left that is left round the corner but they knew nothing about it.

Hopefully it will be in a lock up still in London and resurface for you.
