Yes we do get some rain in Greece
I have started to not find wipers for my car
To my understanding and from pictures I saw in my little web search, the fitting of blades on the arms changed from pre facelift to after 79 models
The face lift models’ arms have a more universal ending so they can get a lot of blades (provided one can find the right dimension for our fairly small, combined to newer cars’, windshields)
I also can’t post pictures at the moment due to photobucket but my car has a rather different fitting, maybe some of you know it already
Should I contact the dealer? Can anyone give me a couple of makes and models of wiper blades in order to look for these whether they are imported in Greece or else order them via web??

Or, at least, the solution might be found if I replaced my car's wiper arms for the after facelift ones which have the more common today "J" shaped edge
But does anyone know if they are interchangeable? Walloth & Nesch sell only the after facelift ones at the moment

Not me I try to keep them original but if you just use like bmwfans.info or something similar based on ETK you will find that the mechanism is the same for all years. So with only a minor uncertainty I think you can assume the facelift arms do fit.

Thank you Jeroen. My mechanic said he can find blades at the moment, so I don't bother so much, they work quite fine so I can wait until next service and have him replace the blades for me. It is just a bit weird as I was used all these years to just buy a new set and replace them myself...
Oh and something else, apart from wipers (although off topic) : TYRES!! I am now going to replace the wheels with these Alpinas - finally they (thank god) are good, and these blemishes on the mesh are just blemishes as it seems.
It seems that the dimension 205/50 R15 has started becoming extremely rare! Just a bit better is the situation for 195/50 R15.
I used to be a bit traditional in Michelin, (with exception recently - I fitted Continentals) and now it seems that not only Michelin but almost all "big" manufacturers are stopping production for these dimensions.
I ordered Toyo T1-R, hope they are good.
