Hello all and happy new year!

This car was jimi alpinas car from here that i bought in 2010, i am carrying out a full resto on it as the paint was never any good, i seen alot of heavy body sealer on it too and knew it would have some issues.....but hey....what E21 does'nt right?

Was gutted i could not get the original sunroof roof panel fitted as there were none around at the time, so it has a brand new tin top roof which at least will not have the rust issues of the sunroof one.

A custom wiring loom is planned as the wiring was in poor state, gaz gold suspension, wilwood front and rear brake set up, then looking to get a nice interior done along with a turbo charged M50 with M54 3.0 crank.

The progress has been slow due to my car collection and money and the guys carrying it out being busy etc, but its coming along.....enjoy the pics and progress while i bankrupt myself in the process!

So far she has had new cills, boot floor and rear turrets, back panel, rear quarters, new bootlid, rear shelf, roof panel...... :shock

That's a big project. What a work, can't wait until the fresh paint is there.

Pretty much something like that yea.....i dont recall ever seeing an E21 with a vinyl roof, but i think it was a moment of madness!

But when you get the car to this stage its good to exhaust all options right? :bag
