Hello

I currently have some bbs alloys on my e21 but the tyres on it are currently 195/45/15 and they just look too small.

I’m wanting a bigger profile tyre but I don’t know what size to get can anyone recommend a size?

I guess most of the choice comes to personal preference. Have you got any pics?

On my old BBS RMs I had 195/45/15 on the fronts that were 8J and 215/40/15 (9J wheel) on the rear using Toyo tyres.
This was on my weekend car - probably would of went bigger if I was using the car daily on British roads

Best way to get what you want is go to a car show and see what others are using on similar set ups... :)

Most common is 195/50 and 205/50 also see the FAQ here http://www.bmwe21.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=38&t=18256

if standard tyre was 185/70/13 (23.2" in diameter)than closest 15" tyre is 205/50/15 and is 0.4% smaller in diameter(23.2") or 195/55/15 which is 0.9% larger in diameter (23.4" in diameter)

I guess easiest size to get is 195/50/15 (22.7" in diameter) and is 2.2% smaller than original

Alpina had 195/50/15 in front and 205/50/15 in rear (I guess due to speedometer issues)

If the car is lowered like mine, beware of the 205/50 tires, you cant turn the wheel :screwy If it would be 3-4 cm higher, no problem, but my height, no way.

I guess that's why Alpina put 195/50/15 in front and 205/50/15 to the rear...

I have 195/50/15 all around like lot's of people do on lowered car, and have absolutely no scratching issues

Croma, what size alloys do you have in front? offset and width?
