So i have some great big four pot calipers up front now, but still on drums at rear.
Now ive manged to source the 323i rear arms but are going to need a major overhaul as they look like fosils.
So am probably going to swap the discs & calipers for e30 ones but can anyone point me to whetes best to get all the parts for refurb?
Wallenesch are pricey and theyve not got everything,
So which parts are nla
Also who does braided hoses
Anyone else done a thread on this?

There are multiple options around. I plan to do a conversion with the standard rear trailing arms et cetera, but only fabricate a new anchor plate. I plan to use VW Jetta callipers since I read somewhere that that would be easier with the handbrake.

Nice little topic in the Top Tech Topics section on moving to E30 calipers:

Have installed that one myself, still very happy with that!

I've done this upgrade too,
I found Brake parts international brilliant for sourcing all the bits, great prices and easy to use website.
You can get all the handbrake shoe mounting stuff.

I got the calipers from a breakers but they were in good condition and even came with a warranty.
I believe the 323i handbrake cables can be hard to find? I got lucky, they came with my arms.

got them stripped down - had to use torch to heat up to remove hub nut.
bearing all need replacement as seals were gone.
but did retain shims...
hoping local bearing place can source bearings
