Hi guys

Does anyone know what size bolts to use to mount a m20b20 to an engine stand?

I believe it’s m12 x 1.75 but not sure on length

Am I right in thinking it mounts to the stand using the gearbox bolt holes?

Can I mount it without taking off the flywheel and clutch?

Cheers Iain

Indeed, you use the gearbox mounting holes. Here is a hint about the bolts:

There are in the internet some examples of engines mounted to the side.

If I look at my old pics of mu M10 than there is not too much place actually to leave the clutch and flywheel on:

Have you had a look at the link? And it depends as well from the engine stand you have.

How about the lenght of the stand arm, and then a good inch.
