Leather Retrim advice

I'm ready to get the retrim completed on my e21 and would be interested to know people's experiences?

The front seats are genuine Recaro LS with headrests, standard rear bench seat with rear headrests. I want to have the whole lot re-trimmed in blue leather to match the door cards and carpets, I'm looking for a period finish, nothing fancy, just as it would have been in 1981.

There's a gentleman who calls himself Recaro Max in Poland, he has a Facebook page and he has quoted me a reasonable price, but he's in Poland and I was hoping to find someone in the UK?

Does anyone have experience of having similar work done in the UK (or of using Recaro Max), what was the quality like and what sort of cost? I'd love to see photos of the results?

Does anybody have experience of using Recaro Max, he seems to have done a lot of Recaros so somebody must have used him!

Does anyone on the forum have any experience of having an interior re-trimmed?

In the Netherlands, both Peter V and 323baur have had their e21 interiors re-trimmed in leather. As far as my knowledge goes, anyway.

Greetz,
Walter.

Must say I was impressed by the recent work done on Ite's car, that was indeed done in the Netherlands, near the city of Utrecht

That's really nice, if only I could find someone in the UK as unfortunately my annual trip to Amsterdam is always in September!

OK, here's the delicate question, what sort of price?
