Hello everyone I have a 1982 BMW e21 that I purchased with a M52-B2.8 engine already installed I love the engine and the power.
However the sump sits very low and the car runs high at the front due to ground clearance, does anyone know of anyone that can do a big wing sump that is slimmer or and OEM one that is compatible that is slimmer?
I have looked at the dry sump option however I don't want to spend £1000 on a set-up.
I thank you all in advance.

Welcome here! No experience but I can imagine there are more affordable options like other mounts. Inviting others with M50/M52 conversions to join the conversation with their experiences.

Where are you based as LHD/RHD makes a difference.
Nas can do a sump and pickup for the RHD conversion where the engine is stood up away from the brake setup on standard E21 M20 engine mounts.

Thanks to both of you, and the vehicle is a UK RHD car.
Sorry but I am new to the Forum can I ask who Nas is? and I didn't think about mounting the engine differently would it create issues with the clearance to the bonnet?

£1000 doesnt seem that expensive considering buying an e34 sump & getting it modified works out quite expensive
