Hi Guys,
I need to replace the right door molding in my E21.
I managed to remove the old one but have trouble installing the new one.
What is the right sequence of steps?
Does any one have such experience to share?
Or could guide me to any videos or photo manuals?

The clip at the front is where the molding slides in, then you click the mold on the other clips and finally you fasten the plastic nut

Which moulding are we talking about? The upper one, on top of the door? In the moulding are little clamps, loose ones, that you'll have to put in yourself. They go in the upper side. Sequence isputing it on from above and sort of "clicking" it over the lower edge, on the glass side

This goes for the rubber moulding on the middel of the door, indeed.

I'm talking about the part number 51 13 1 831 466, to be fully precise.
Cannot figure out how to mount it onto the clips: 51 13 1 849 724.
What goes first and how.

Ok, so that is the rubber strip, tha Jeroen discribed. The clip, without the centerpin, goed in the hole in the door, than drive in the center pin. The moulding is clicked over it. The rest is as Jeroen stated.
