Hi,
Does anyone know what the name of the white color is on the E21 320 group 5 racecar from 1977. It seems to be a whiter color than the E9 CSL group 4 (chamonix white)
Greetings, André

Hi André!
Looking forward to updates on the project! As for the paint, what about 146 Alpinweiss? I believe that was introduced in 1977.

Hi Jeroen,
Due to technical E21 problems and work on a 2002, the project has been halted for over a year. Try to have him riding by the end of the year without a group 5 look.
Alpine white I certainly thought of but can not find confirmation anywhere.
Greetings André

So sorry to hear you ran into issues, but I hope you can take some smaller steps at a time then.
I can check with Charles Veillard perhaps, he built an amazing replica

That would be great. People at the bmw museum in Munchen didn't know either and the
classic@groupbmw.de doesn't email back.
Those issues were caused by a 25 year younger suspension. Was to be expected

Thank everyone for looking, thinking and asking around. I finally got an answer from BMW group Classic. It is.......Alpinweiss.

Well you got your response quicker than I got one... but at least it's confirmed now! Hope you can share some nice details on this project... all in good time though!
