i want to ask you, if somebody knows the size of the spare tire, that came from factory in the E21's.

iirc, mine was a 165 R13 (this I guess means that the profile number was 82? - please correct me here if anyone knows something more...so 165/82 R13 was it I guess but profile was not mentioned)

I have two cars here that still have an unused original spare (steel) wheel with -what appears to be- the original tyre, a 316 and a 323i. The 316 is a '76 and has a Pirelli P3 in size 165R13 on a 5Jx13 wheel. For the 323i (1981) I can try to have a look later this week, there is a possibility it has a 185 wide spare.

And for the 1981 323i: tyre Uniroyal Rallye 185/70HR13 on 5.5J steel wheel

Indeed 5J R13 for the wheel as well on my 316, not 5,5.
