Hello everyone, I am new to this forum and this my first post. We bought this 323i last year and it is going to become little project car for the foreseeable future.

Since purchasing the car we have fitted new discs/pads all round and restored front callipers; new wheel bearings; upgraded the steel wheels (for sale) to Motorsport alloy rims 6Jx13" .

One the day of this post I went to my garage turned the car on and depressed the clutch and it fell to the floor. I checked under the the car and all the clutch fluid had leaked from the clutch slave cylinder.

As someone with zero mechanical skills, I will use this car to build up such skills. First on the agenda is replacing the clutch slave cylinder.

Welcome indeed, and congrats on getting yourself a pretty rare early chrome mirrored example! Souncd like cluch slave indeed, easy fix, sometimes hard to bleed, but leaving the car sat for a week usually helps.

Cool, 323i in polaris. Have fun with that beauty. Sounds like a plan to build your mechanical skills with this car. The're almost 50 years old, hence the need for a good mechanic!
