Front suspension overhaul.

Its been a long time coming, but my e21 is finally getting new front springs (30mm lowered), shocks and lower control arms.
I had to put my e30 project out to get the e21 into the shed.

Thanks to some new tools everything came out of the car easily.

There was quite a difference between the old and new springs.

The car has come out looking wedge shaped as i have heavy duty aftermarket standard height springs in the rear.

The job took me and mate about 2 hours to complete, we were both surprised there were no unforseen problems or last minute dives to auto supply stores for extras.
The test drive was a success, no clonking over bumps, no wallowing, less understeer
no steering shimmy. The old control arms were shagged, the ball joints were worn and notchy and the shockies were both blown so there has been quite an improvement!
