Hi Dennis,
WOW!! Looks good... I like the BMW reflector between the rear lights! Very period!!
And the 13" Alpina's are quite cool too...

Dennis,
Nice 320/6, my dad had a 1978 white with dark blue pullman interior back in the early eighties in Holland, that thing went like a rat up a drainpipe!!
I like the color, looks like you put the update wing mirror on.
I remember when the "boys" bought their E21's they all had to have those reflector panels between the tail lights.
You blokes in Europe do it tough having so much work getting rid of the rust. In the early eighties my brother bought a 3.0s E3 that was 9 years old and had rust in all the common places, but my 32 year old E3 has less rust here in Oz than his did back in Nederland.
Cheers to you and you E21!!

Thanks for all the replies!
You can still find some reflectors here in the Netherlands. I have 1 spare, but it has a crack in it.
Don't know how your dutch is, but on
www.marktplaats.nl they are sold sometimes.
greetings,
Dennis

hi dennis, thats a very nice car, the only thing fault i can see on it is the 2 grills in the front valance, i dont know whether you know or not but they are supposed to be black, im just being picky though and its up to you how original you wont it, its look great whatever colour the grills are anyway, also can i ask you where you got your floor boards or panels from and when you got them, did you use them both, have you any parts of them left, i want a right hansside one. phill

Hi Phill,
Thanks for your comment. I know that they are suppose to be black. When I brought the car to get a new opaintjob, I forgot to remove the grills.
Since then I forgot to paint them black again. So thanks for the reminder
The floor panels came from Walloth & Nesch, our good friends in Germany.
I used all the parts and filled some other pieces with some other metal plates that I bought in a local shop.
gr, Dennis

Update:
As you may probably know, for about 2.5 months I'm working on fitting power steering on my e21. What held my up a few times were parts that were missing, such as the short steering thing and de thing that holds the PS pump and alternator.
But know i't s finally ready!

A buddy of mine who also does my "apk" (dont know what that is in English, bu something like a yeraly check of your car) just called that he also finished the PS and that it works fine!
I can't wait to pick it up!
I'll post some pictures of the project someday soon.

Congratulations!
Another beautifully restored 6. Really like the Recaro seats.
Look forward to hearing how it performs.
Best, Mike
