Hi guys!

Check out the new pics from a recent trackday on Page 5... :P

So I've finally got pics of my Alpina B6 replica with 3,5 liter M30 engine...
Image
I've owned it since March 2004.
Image
Originally out of Munich it was a 323i assembled in 1982.
Image
But in 1999 the previous owner rebuilt the car with a 3,5 liter M30 engine out of a 6-series.
Image
He also resprayed the whole shell in Macau Blue metallic - a colour from the E30 M3 Cecotto Edition.
Image
Unfortunately he didn't modify the rest of the car, so it couldn't really handle all the power...
Image
I started out by fitting an original Alpina suspension with Bilstein dampers, progressive Eibach springs and harder rubber bushings. This totally transformed the car!!
Image
It's also got a rather extreme short-shift gearshift with a heavy duty clutch, a full stainless steel exhaust and an open Sparco airfilter.
Image
The brakes are my next project. It's still got standard 323i brakes which actually work better than you'ld expect, but none the less, I want something bigger...
Image
Furthermore, I'm going to give it the full Alpina make-over... I've got all the bits - just need to fit them.
Alpina frontspoiler.
Alpina rearspoiler.
Alpina rear mudgaurds.
Alpina gold pinstripes for side and front.
Image
I only wish you could hear the sound of that exhaust!! It's like nothing you would ever expect of a 23 year old BMW - a fabulous cocktail of Thunder and Sweet Music...
Image
And this is the view most people get of my Alpina replica!
Image
Inside I've already fitted an Alpina leather steering wheel, Alpina gearknob and Alpina main instruments with red needles.
Image
But there's more to come:
3 extra Alpina gauges on top of the dashboard.
Alpina alloy footrest.
Image
Luckily it already had the BMW option of Recaro idealseats when I bought it - they are getting really rare... Oh, and check out the Alpina floor mats!
Image
Not a lot of space left in here!!
Image
As you can see I also need to screen off the airfilter, so it only gets cold air. Also need a strut brace...
Image
But even as it is, it certainly does the job...
Image
So I've still got loads of projects for my Alpina replica. But even as it is now, I just love my BMW and that awesome combination of low weight and big engine...
I use my Alpina both as my daily driver, for trackdays and for shows...

What do you think of it?

No probs anders, looks good, seats are awesome. BTW if you want cold air for track days remove your inner headlight and make up a longer pie to get the filter closer to the hole, = winnar

Yep... soooooo cute! And it's not too 'loud' on the outside, just plain decent... that's the way I like 'em! So you're bringing this one to the meet in Holland?

Well, Jeroen, still not 100% sure that I'm gonna show at Lelystad, but I certainly hope to... If I do, it'll definately be in my Alpina replica...

PS! thanx for the kind words guys - I'm glad you all like it.
