Hi

I am currently doing the west coast in a camper for a month and a bit, came in to Sydney went to Tasi (bad timming for the targa damm), Alice then here at a friends in Freo. Next stop NZ.

I have seen quite a few e21's here the majority are rust free and RHD oh e21 heaven.

Yeah... they have quite a few rust free E21's over there and just to annoy us the sell them dead cheap... and over here we keep searching for E21's that haven't been eaten by rust and we pay top dollar

Fuel consumption?!?!?!?!?!?

Which planet are you from Mcinek? :D In a car like that, fuel consumption doesn't really matter that much...

Trust me, with your right foot plantet, your going to have way too much fun to bother with sensible matters like fuel consumption...

HOLY HOLY HOLY sheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet, thats awesome. i agree anders who gives a toss about fuel consumtion, triples and some fat compression would be awesome.

Hi

Fuel consumption is not that bad, not much more than my 323i, but the price foer super unleaded in the UK is sky high.

I have a dyno chart giving 235BHP at the flywheel that came with the car, but i need to get it done a again, a lot of operators fudge things like air temp and altitude to get the figuers up so i want to check for my self.

The leda coil overs help the handling a lot, but the dog leg and low ratio diff mean you can get it smoking sideways off the line.

Sounds absolutely wicked Jason!!!

I realize you're in Oz now, but where do you live in the UK?
I used to live just outside Oxford and I still visit the UK a couple of times a year - I'd love to meet up and see your jaw-dropping E21 some day... :D

Hey Jason,

Check out my E21 in the Gallery (look for Alpina replica). We've got roughly the same power - but two different approaches...
