So and now I will try to put some pics of my beloved car.
I'm not very handy with computers, so forgive me for unreadable pics..

My baur has the following options:
- Powersteering.
- Economic 5 gearbox.
- Black (near future blue) leather recaro interieur.
- 15" original Alpina's (need a good respray).
- Headlampwipers (working!!)
- Extended toolbox.
- Front foglights (not on pics, just attached)

And here a some pics, also at time off the restauration (2002-2005).

Hmm.
At this moment the car is very filthy (no time) and some important details has to be done..

I bought from "loentje" his old original Alpina's. They are not very clean (..) In the past a not very smart idiot has painted them blue...
The tires are old and bad. (there's one big advantage on this; sometimes I take it sideways when no one is looking  ).

Also (see other post) my interior is "under construction".
I promise that next year the car must be in a state of new.
I promised myself that I will do all the work in this winter.

And Jeroen: do you promise us that you also will take an e21 with you?
It is a shame (..) that the father of the e21 lovers wasn't with an e21!

Yes, was just fooling you... but I did not know you drove the car...

Anyway: Arnout is full of plans... with this car and his Baur. I'm very curious of that car also.

Well knowing his pace it might take a few years beforethe 323i Baur is ready, we only just picked up the car and he's going for a full restore.

And in the meantime he has to think in which car he wants to put the Hartge H3 engine :? I suggested to make the Baur a stock tourer on almost stock suspension, stock engine and 13" alloys and give the polaris car the Hartge engine, an uprated suspension and 15" wheels... the 323i currently sits on yellow Koni shocks, stock springs and 13" balloon type tyres and that's way too soft IMHO.

Sweet Baur! The color is unusual - Stratos blue?

As far as I know now,the pics from the Total BMW 320 Baur of the interior in blue wich I have sent you should resemble the original leather as good as possible.

I've sent the pictures to the person who must re-make may Recaro's.
He said its no problem. So you will see next year the result.

Was this car originally a 320? Just wondering cos it looks like the right tailpipe cutout on the rear panel has been welded on. Great car btw!

Sharp eyes!

but.. As you also can see; there's mounted a complete new back side, becouse the old one was totally rusted/ damaged.
The man who restored my car was forgotten that the 323 has its typical specialties...
I was fortunately right on time to tell him.
